Axle spread on Hinge Trailer evenly distributes weight front to rear, at maximum GVW, truck drive axles are never grossly overloaded which means less maintenance on the truck over time.
Hinge pins provide a more stable unit and driveability than the SPIF #12, which has a fifth wheel to connect second trailer.
