Legros Trailers

About us

LBC Contracting Ltd. is a licensed Trailer Manufacturer, owned and operated by

Derrick and Paul Legros. As a welding and fabrication shop, we build logging trailers, chip vans, semi-floats, semi-dump trailers, roll offs, utility, shop, ATV, any type of trailer… each one built to the customer’s specifications. We can modify and retrofit existing trailers with any improvement requested. As a licensed mechanic shop, we also can repair and safety all types of semi-trailers.

Originally we owned and operated log hauling and loading equipment from 1982 until 1995. We parked our trucks and started buying old trailers, fixing them up, and selling them. From there, we went to work full-time manufacturing new trailers. We designed our own style of trailer called the Double-Drop-Deck. This model, with the second drop over the rear axles, allowed for an extra cord of wood over the other trailers on the market. We manufactured other products, such as our own Trailer Flex Air Ride Suspension, Air Scale Systems, and more recently, the newly updated “Legros Trailers Hinge Trailer”, which also can be installed on all brands and models of semi-trailers.

Both the Hinge Trailer and our patent Hinge are currently being built at TCI “Twin City Industrial” here in Thunder Bay ON.
